Can FastCapPro Record Game at video resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher?
Yes! You can set FastCapPro at full screen video resolution and set your game resolution at 1024 x 768 or higher. The video output resolution will be the same as your game resolution. FastCapPro's default video resolution is full screen. Please do not set check on the "Video Resolution" box (in the video page) if you need full screen.
We recommend to record at full screen and uncompressed format to receive high video quality and game speed.
Note:
1) It is improper to record game at the video resolution higher than your settings in game. For example, when you set game resolution at 800 x 600, your video resolution should be 800 x 600 (full screen) or lower. You would not increase the video quality by enlarging the frames.
2) When you perform real time encoding, it is common that your video resolution is close to half screen of your game resolution.
What are the default settings of FastCapPro?
Hot Keys: Start/Pause: F8; Stop: F9
Save Path of FastCapPro: Install path
Video Format: AVI.
Video Frame Rate: 30 FPS
Video Resolution (the size of your movie): full screen, which is the resolution you set for your game.
Audio Device: Stereo, 16 bit, 22kH
Recording sound
Video Compression and Audio Compression are disable in default
I have purchased the software, but why my license code is not valid?
It is mainly because the software you download is from other websites and that it is not the latest version. You can just take the following steps to solve the problem:
Step 1: Download the latest version of the software directly from our website.
Step 2: Copy and paste the license codes to the registration dialog of the software to complete the registration.
How to Update
FastCapPro supports live update. Live update will run automatically if there's a new version on our server. If you want to upgrade FastCapPro, just click "Internet" -> "Upgrade" buttons.
If FastCapPro does not update successfully, please download the newest version and reinstall it.
For Registry Users:
1. Minor or major upgrade on FastCapPro old version to FastCapPro latest version is completely FREE!
2. Registry users need not to re-enter your license code for live upgrade. You can update FastCap just by click "Internet" -> "Upgrade" buttons. If we change the registry methods, we will also send an email to our registry users for the upgrade news. You just need to input the new license code we provide in the register dialog.
3. If you do not receive our email on the upgrade info, please write to us at sales@ejoystudio.com.
